Psychology of Language Learning

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Kayue completed her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in TESOL at BYU-Idaho. She is now in the TESOL master’s program at BYU and works as a teacher at the ELC. Her research interests include second language acquisition, metacognition, positive psychology, classroom behavior inside and outside of class, and classroom practice. She believes that the experience of teaching in a classroom to speakers of other languages is irreplaceable and strengthening, and she has enjoyed teaching at a high school, an ESL school, and now at the ELC.
